I spoke to Tim a while back about building this call for my eldest nephew. I had my nephew run a bunch of my calls this spring and he really liked Tim's single sider that I own in this same wood combo. So when my nephew asked me to be his sponsor for his Confirmation I though that one of Tim's calls would make a nice gift for him. I had seen calls in the past that Tim made with the cross checkering and figured that would be very appropriate. As usual Timbo did an awesome job on the call as it sounds incredible. I'm sure my nephew will be very surprised and happy with the call.
With a call from Tim and one from BigTom now all I need to do is pick up a new shotgun for him and he should be set for a little while anyway.
