Here are two firsts for me. Been building calls for about 5 years now, but never tryed a parquet. The shorty is a walnut over cedar parquet. It is a cedar box with holly end blocks and walnut spacers and inlay. The lid is walnut with holly and cedar inlays. I am real happy with how this one turned out. I haven't decided if I am going to keep it or not, but it will likely end up in the classifieds. So PM me if interested.
With the name "Frozen Crow" it has always seemed to me that I should offer a crow call. I wasn't going to do one though until I got the time to figure out the wooden mouthpieces. Well after throwing out about 20 calls over the last 6 months, I finally got them figured out (I hope!!). Here is what I came up with.
