Here is a Dave's Gator Gobbling Stribling style.  It is similar to the call I posted for Chuck Rose.  Dave's call has smooth hen on the left with just a slight rasp on the end of her note.  The right has a full, vibrating in your hand, raspy hen.  It has a great Gobble.  The Cherry comes from a duck hunting family in Greenwood, Ms.  The walnut is a piece that is left over from redoing the winding walnut staircase in the Burris antebullum home in Benoit, Ms.  It was given to me by Eustice Winn IV.

John, it has been nice getting to know you. Thank you for taking the time to make me such a fine call. I love wood (and calls)with some history and you couldn't have found a nicer piece of wood to make a call from. I have been researching the house you mentioned and it has some very interesting history, hopefully it will be preserved as a significant historical building. Thanks again, and I look forward to the call,(as well as the stories you post ;)) good huntin' my friend!!

John you know maybe you should head that toward MO and not Vermont...  I'm not sure Dave can handle that call (just kidding.. Dave's a great guy and he pointed me toward you too...  Not sure I ever mentioned that to you).

Dave I know how excited you are on getting this one.  I cannot wait to hear it  *up*

John once again, you did a great job and I love how everything has a history with your callers!  Makes them even more special!
