 This speaks for its self. He has come out w/ a bunch of excuses...none of which addresses shooting a spike buck in California.

1st off, he broke the law- no ands, ifs, or buts! I agree ignorance is no excuse and am glad he was punished and I'm sure he will pony up for his fine. He also needs to man up and air an apology on his tv show.

On the other hand....... what kind of  dog *poo* guide assists you in breaking the law?!?!?!?! And it was on film, HELLOOOO! Hopefully he meets some fines and restrictions as well.

Also, what the heck is up with Cali? No spikes????  *wha*

Thats right, fork horn or better out here. Stupid law if you ask me. You have no idea how many dead spikes I come across. It's real bad towards the end of archery season. The velvet starts to peel and makes those spikes look like forks.

Add this to the list of things he does that annoys the bejesus out of me.

This really makes us look good. Our so called "ambassador" of the outdoors. what a joke

I like some of his music but I have never looked up to him in a hunting aspect this just further adds to it. cmere spike ???

I am done complaining  now  :)

Kinda ranks up there with Alan Jackson cutting down trees in the Chattahochee National Forest so he has a better view of the lake. These stars really get an attitude. ::)

Ya'll take it easy on ole Ted. I agree w/ what most of ya'll are sying, but we've all got our issues; or whatever you want to call em'. That man also has done more to preserve our 4th Ammendment rights than most of us can think of doing. So, you gotta give him some props there.

The crazy part is they said he was hunting with a guide. Anyone that guides in Ca knows better. Funny there's been no mention of fines or loss of his guide license.
