« on: August 12, 2010, 10:30:43 AM »
My 5 Course Gourmet Lunch Southern Style

1. 2 Slices of Fresh White Bread
2. Finely peeled and thick sliced vine ripe tomatoes
3. Some good ole Kraft Mayonnaise
4. Salt (just the right amount)
5. Black pepper graciously ground

And all eaten at once with a glass of Sugar Water that has a hint of TEA.

That my friends is a Gourmet Southern Lunch at it's finest!!

Great choice Bulldog. Back here , we eat them with mustard. My Grandad started me eating tomato sandwiches when I was a boy. He always told me that getting a tomato /mustard sandwich when he was a boy was the equivalence of a candy bar to kids nowadays.

That's the main reason I grow a garden every year. Got to have my tomato sandwiches.

They have these tomato's called of all things, San Francisco Fog. They grow pretty good. I have to stick with smaller sized tomato's with this cool weather.
