Man I've never heard snakes called docile...  they are all vicious killers!!!   *lol*

I don't let em go by in any woods. Snakes used to not bother me. I have handled all kinds. Between being bit twice and having two kids, I kill everyone I see now regardless of what it is.

 You were bite by two poisionous snakes ? Were you bite handling them are trying to kill them........ most folks are bite trying to kill them are aggravating them.

I was bitten last year by a rat snake. I was cutting grass with my 3 year old and the snake was in the way. I got off the mower to move him across the road in the pasture. He bit me on the forearm. Coon hunting several years ago a mocassin got me on the ankle. Luckily it barely broke the skin. I have always let snakes go and not messed with them. Now that I have kids, any of them I see around the woods at my house are dead. Out hunting on other property, I will let king snakes and rat snakes go. All the others are as good as dead if I see them.
