Well just put in Apocalypse Now and I have to say, it's one of my all time favorite movies.  5 hours long (the 2001 Redux) and it's going to be a very long night ....

I watch a lot of movies, so what are some of your favorites?

Mine has always been Where the Red Fern Grows. It reminds me of my Grandpa. He used to take me coon hunting all the time (along with hunting everything that can be eaten).

In no particular order,... I'm a fan of classic comedies like Animal House, Caddy Shack, or Airplane.  

I believe Tom Hanks is the greatest actor of my generation and consider Forrest Gump, the Green Mile, and Saving Private Ryan to be cinematic classics.  

The defining films of my childhood were the Star Wars films. Decades later I'm a huge fan, and I still get excited when I'm flipping channels and hear the distinctive sound of a light saber firing up or Darth Vader's distinctive mechanical breathing...

In my opinion some of the best alltime movies are Lonesome Dove and Jeremiah Johnson.
Going South and McLintock are my goto for a little comic relief.
The Mountian Men is the Thanksgiving day Tradition at deer camp.
If you ever want to see a good one about standing firm on what's right and wrong I suggest
The Jack Bull.

I like alot of movies, mostly military/war (The Deer Hunter) and westerns (Outlaw Josey Wales) with Clint Eastwood. But one of my absolute favs is one that most of you probably never heard of it or even saw it as it is pretty new.......its called "Restrepo", and its the "REAL DEAL"!!!  Here is a link, check out the trailer and be thankful to these warriors........
