Well, just finished these two up. The osage/purpleheart call was made for my Redskin fan of a son.
The things you will do for your kids.
Glass striking surface with a purpleheart soundboard and a matching striker.
I can say one thing though, it plays just like the Skins do!!
I'm like Shanahan, Not sure what I can do to get it to play better.
Just kidding.
The second is Ebony with a Holly striker. This is going to be my new style call. I wanted a different look without adding steps or machinery and I almost accomplished that goal. I had to add on extra step, but I think the end result was worth it. Now the good news. When my son seen the Ebony, he did not want the "other" call. I'm telling ya, he is slowly coming over to the "dark side".
I will have him cheering for the "black and gold" before you know it.
