Zircote Trumpet (Black Falcon)

While cutting grass today, I noticed the mailman taking a little extra time at my box. I though, "Hmm....wonder what this could be?" There it was. My Zircote trumpet from Black Falcon had arrived. *dance* I ripped that box open and inside was the best looking zircote trumpet my eyes had ever seen. I touched that thing to my lips and out came some of the best turkey yelps one could imagine. Takes very little air to run. Whistles, clucks, cutts and yelps like a champ. I did not try to gobble with it, but I will in a little while.

I guess by now you've figured out that I'm pleased with my new trumpet. Great craftsmanship. Just by looking, one can tell that a lot of care went into making it.

I can't get it to download. Keeps saying file is too large. Go to the callmakers bench and you will find the picture posted by Black Falcon. I think it is posted as zircote and desert ironwood.

Here you go, I have been out of state, just got home.
Mark, I am glad to hear she arrived safely, hope you enjoy her for many years to come. That call has something a little special , and was properly blessed as taught by Hears Crow, Elder of the Naragansett tribe, Turtle Island. When you hear the crow call, you will know that tom is coming.... ;)

I got trumpet call from Dave awhile ago  .  Texas  ebony and buffalo horn, sweeeeeet!! Just ordered  long box from him. Can't wait to get it. If his long boxes are any thing like is Trumpets  I see some turkeys having bad days.
