Illinois velvet bucks

Ok, so I know it's not turkeys but I'm sure a lot of you boys dig the horns too  ;D

This area has it's fair share of big bucks for sure. Here in the last 5-10 years the turkey population has exploded. Most of the hunters I know are deer, duck, & pheasant hunters so I don't think the longbeards get pressured much. That just makes it easier on me for taking photos  ;)

I don't doubt that as many are being seen that a few new turkey hunters wont crop up!

That buck has some potential for sure!  Wow that's a nice velvet he's sporting!

Each one of them boys has some good genes flowing. Did you notice the drop tine on the last one? You can hardly see it above his ear
