beautiful birds, but i have no interest in hunting them. gonna be hard to find strut marks on that concrete.
If you had asked me a few years ago, I'd agree with you. Until recently most have been shot off the roost, and I have no interest in that.
I now look at the Ocellated differently, behavior wise they are very similar to its American counterparts but vocalizations are entirely different. I'm reading over Lovett Williams's new book on the Ocellated when I find downtime. With calling(albeit mostly electronic) changing the way you hunt them I look at it as a different challenge. Now that calling them is involved, I'd definitely like to hunt them...
