Show us your music makers
« on: July 10, 2010, 08:25:03 PM »
Outside of sweating off 10 lbs turning calls in a 2000 degree shop, I also play some music.  Been in a few bands during college and recently have been playing at my church.  I know you have some sweet pickin instruments so don't disappoint me Brent!  Here are a few of my guitars,

First is an Ibanez artwood dreadnought.  My wife bought this for me for Father's day the year after my daughter was born. This one is my camping/beach guitar

Next is a Takamine Jumbo G series.  The back and sides are blonde curly maple.  This is the guitar I beat on 90% of the time.

Last is my latest, I have wanted one forever.  Gibson Les Paul Studio Deluxe, heritage cherry sunburst.

Thanks for the look!
Ed

These are mine.  I don't play as much as I used to, but I still enjoy it very much.  I still get together with a few friend and terrorize their neighbors on Sat. nights. ;D
L to R:  Ibanez that my Bil gave me for moving him to St.Louis,  Ephiphone that was made in the mid 70's that I bought @ a garage sale.  A great guitar for $50.00.  Gretsch double anniversary made around '62-'63 I think.  I had a '57 Les Paul gold top stolen from a dorm room at Southern Miss in '74.  Man, I still miss that guitar, and would recognize it to this day.
