A game warden had been watching a parked truck, next to a large White Oak wooded lot for about two hours, when out walked a man w/ 6 squirrels. Since the season wasn't open yet he pulled up along side the truck and got out to write the man a ticket. He asked the guy why he was hunting squirrels out of season and where was his gun? The fellow replied, what gun? A bit caught off guard, the warden said, you have 6 squirrels......how did you kill them w/out a gun! With a rock replied the guy! A ROCK, said the warden, no darn way! Well, said the man, if I can prove it to you, will you let me go? This was just to much to fathom for the warden, so he said if you can kill a squirrel w/ a rock, you bet I will let you go! With that, the man took the warden back into the woods and proceeded to see if he could find another squirrel. Minutes later a large Fox Squirrel jumped up on the side of an old Oak about ten yards away. The man looked on the ground and found a rock the size of a baseball......drew back w/ his right hand to throw the rock and then hesitated.....switched the rock in his left hand, throwing it at the squirrel and hit it square in the head, killing it! The game warden was astounded! One question I have for you the warden said........you began to throw that rock w/ you right hand, but then switched to your left............how come? The man replied, well, he was to close and I didn't want to tear him up!
