 Porter sent me a piece of apple wood for a longbox. Didn't take me long to call and leave a message on his phone saying he owed me for air freshener, and that the call smelled like  *poo* !!!  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO Well turns out the wood was dried in cow manure. Good thing my wife and I grew up on the farm and was used to wadin' through the cow manure!! Not sure what someone who had never smelled that before would have done to ol' Porter!! Bad part is Porter thought it was funny!! Well, Mike, Kim says you're gonna be in Nashville in Feb. and she wants to see you as soon as you get there!!  :o  Not really sure what she wants to talk to you about, but it probably ain't good my friend!!  ;D Anyway, here's the call. It's Bloodwood over cow pie apple wood. I have to admit it sounds WAY better than it smells my friend!!! I'll have it ready to ship in about 6 months.

Never once thought you would make a    *poo*  y caller but guess I was wrong  ROTFLMBO.  Mighty fine caller there Al and Josh, I'm glad they haven't invented smellernet yet!

Al I have no idea what your problem is??? That is a beautiful call and I bet sounds as good as you have done! What a small price to pay to make your Idol his call of a lifetime! You should thank ole Porter for the privilege of "allowing" you to  "take one for the team"!  *peep* *peep* *bannana* *bannana*

First, we have Mike Lapp sending out cat piss poplar, now Porter is sending out cow paddy apple wood......

     Something just doesn't smell right with these calls.......

     One thing for sure, Porter...you shouldn't lose that call in the woods......It will smell different then anything else around it....LOL!
