Yeah I'm a sucker for Osage... Funny story is, after seeing Lou post his, I pm'd Bill and he kind of said he didn't build Osage calls. I scratched my head and said... dang did I pm the wrong person
Being persistent (and probably annoying
) helped with this acquisition! You can always get a good feel for a callmaker when you are communicating with them. Modest is what comes to mind talking to Bill. I have pm after pm making sure I was happy with the call. Being told if it's not what I wanted to let him know. I think Bill didn't like it that much. Comments of I'm not good with Osage, Osage isn't a good wood... etc... Needless to say, I think Bill has a very good career building calls with Osage
