Ok here we go.....our season started on Saturday and I posted pics on the bird I called in for my buddy Chuckie, now Monday rolls around and it's my turn.....3am I'm up and I'm ready to go! We go to a spot we know from scouting has several good birds on the property, decoys are set up and mother nature is not being to nice to us and it starts to pour. Ok no big deal I think....I won't melt in the rain and I bet the birds will be all over these fields, well I was half right on that one, we counted 36 hens in all, all out in the field at one time or another but no Gobblers, no gobbles in the morning sounding off or nothing! Sooooo after several hours of sitting we moved to a different spot and again nothing, hunts over. Well at least I had the chance to get out and enjoy the day adn we will hit it hard on Tuesday.
