Hey Ray, That's a pretty rare call. I only made a few with natural wood bodies before changing to all acrylic. The reason was that they were fitted with such close tolerance in the "twist lock" cam mechanism....I was afraid that the climate changes in various parts of the country would cause the parts to expand and contract at different rates. When that happens, it could cause a lock up. Apparently, my concern didn't play out, or no one notified me if it did. The few that were made with wood bodies, were made with only the most stable woods like iron wood or something close.....with the exception of only one ivory call that was ever made. Most folks don't know, but the serial number is on the enternal cam and has to be disassembled to be viewed. Only the original purchasers were verbally walked through this procedure, so don't do it without instruction....preferably from me! I'm sure someone will step up to the plate on that call sooner or later....good luck! My e-mail address should be viewable here, so feel free to make contact if you have any questions.
