We'll do it every now and then. I can't see ruining a pretty piece of wood with cutting half the back out. It makes the call a good bit louder. If someone prefers it, then we'll do it. Other wise I'll stick to the small holes everyone else does. Believe it or not, it don't take any more time to cut the track in it than it does to drill the holes.
