I sent Scotty a PM to give him a heads up.....maybe he knows the guy so I'm not jumping to any conclusions. Scotty is also a member of that forum so I can't see someone just doing it without his knowledge...........I hope cause that just isn't right, sure a lot of pots and strikers are all somewhat the same but a pot with a snuff lid is kinda unique.

I don't know for sure but I don't think Scotty is the originator of that idea.  I've seen calls on ebay with the Skoal lids before Scotty starting making his.
I will say that Scotty's are much nicer looking and probably sound better!!  *cheers*

I don't know if he is the originator but I am almost 100% sure that he has the rights from the tobacco company(s) to use the lids?

No, it's on the bottom of the call. He wrote in the thread that he used holes on the sides of the pots for that one.

Glad I can help brother. I am a member of several other forums as well and I will say, honestly that THIS site has the most real, true to earth, good hearted guys I have ever talked to. Guys like you Scotty and Mike, Porter and Zips to name a few (sorry if I am leaving anyone out cause all the ones I talked to are great) are so nice and just down to earth great guys. I have never met any of you but I feel like I know you in some kind of way or another.
 Scotty, that Kawboy reminds me of a guy on the HuntingPa forum.....Zips will know who I am talking about, these people eother know it all or will start a thread just to start an arguement....I don't get that but to each his own I guess lol. Talk to you all soon, Jeff

Scotty, as I've said multiple times to callmakers, I hate to see this happen and I know how much you cherish your idea!  If there is anything I can do to help out, let me know!  It's a shame that items like this do happen.  You callmakers put too much time and heart into your calls for this to happen  *cry*
