Trout fishing in the Northern mountains of Pennsylvania
« on: April 25, 2010, 07:54:32 AM »
The first day of trout season was a success for My daughter Ellie.  I took her up to a little mountain stream that I grew up fishing.  As you can see she did well.  Despite the snow and cold rain, I couldn't get her off the stream...Until she caught a giant crab!! :o   Notice the trout on the bottom is a hybrid trout called a Tiger trout.
Thanks for looking

Gregg she is a doll. Love trout fishing. She looks like the proverbial cat that ate the canary!

Thats pretty cool to be able to bring your daughter along. Do you have to fish with barbless hooks up there?
