Elk Burr pots in progress
« on: April 23, 2010, 07:28:58 PM »
I've been wanting to make these for a couple of years but had a hard time finding burr's large enough. These pots are all ready to be glued up as soon as my slate and glass get here. The first one is going in my collection but the second will be up for sale once it's finished.

They look really good!!! I made a couple of them years ago by just hollowing them out with a Dermel Tool and then fitting the slate. Them where a pain in the butt but very cool. Never seen one turned on a lathe VERY NICE!!! *up*
