... my first "Permar" ...
« on: April 15, 2010, 04:50:16 AM »

Well, after doing a little research here on the Roost, & a big thanks to Preston's fantastic "A Study in Permar" thread ...  :o
... here's my first trumpet caller by Mr. Permar - what I believe to be is a new style "1917" #13 that I was very fortunate to have picked up ... 8)

This very fine Ralph Permar caller plays so easy & smooth, that even I'm startin' to sound "half-way" decent on it ... ;)
... & I sure do appreciate this "big time" goes out to "you know who you are" - thank you very much my friend !!! ... 8) 8) 8) 8)

"would sure hate to hav' to pick between the two of 'em"                                                                                     TFM 101 ... ::)

Congratulations, my friend! That is one beautiful trumpet and the 1917's have killer sound. Take her to the woods and seduce a big tom.
We're always cooking up something!
