Two Gobbleking Hunting strikers
« on: September 06, 2009, 01:35:53 AM »

Turned these two strikers to carry in the vest. Both zebrawood pegged in two different woods. One for loud exicted calling and the other for the soft stuff in close. The curly maple will cut and yelp with high picthed intensity and the green poplar has an awesome tree yelp, purrs , and clucks. These two paired with a good slate over glass are killer for light runnin and gunnin..... *gobble*

... I like 'em - look like they feel good in the hand - sounds like a great strategy workin' 'em with a slate pot - I know about the Curly Maple, but have never tried the Green Poplar ... *cool* *cool*

"would sure hate to hav' to pick between the two of 'em"                                                                                     TFM 101 ... ::)

That green poplar is one of the best soft callers I've heard on a slate.Purrs, tree yelps, and clucks really nice.
