Anyone have any experience with them ?

Any Tech people that could suggest a better made Model / Brand Name?

I have no experience at all with them.

... Spur - I've heard the Olympus DVRs are very good - as with anything it just depends on how deep you want to go - their better DVRs to their PCMs are priced from about $59 to $299 ... 8) 8)

Those are great choices, My son has one from Motorola that was about a $100 that works great.

Spur,

          I bought a RCA VR5220 model......Works just fine for what I use it for....Recording myself playing calls. I DO plan on using it to record some hunts this spring.. I think, I paid 45-50.00 for it.....

          Be kind of cool to hear my calling and reaction of the gobbler, then hearing a BANG.. ;D

Spur I'll see what recommendations I get at the University.  Have several students that work for me and I'm sure they'll have some good recommendations too.  Looks like you've gotten several already!

Do you mind me asking what you are looking for using it as primarily?  Recording turkey calls, Just documenting items, etc. ?
