The "Chain Gang"

I've been working on some new hand carved "check" patterns for a series of special edition box calls.
I have been in contact with several well known callmakers and collectors for input, wanting to come up with something that is not already being done, and this is what I've come up with, "The Chain Gang". These are some working prototypes
The first two boxes are my full size short boxes.
The last two are my standard, shorter (higher pitched) version.

I really dig that check pattern and you even threw in an Osage call to boot!!!  Great looking calls man!!!

Now did you not read the rules?  That's in direct violation of the ... umm... the ... well....  let's see...  oh yeah.. the hidden...  no one else can buy Osage calls but the Administrator.  Yeah that's the rule you just broke.  I'm thinking of using the  ban button now...  Luckily I'm (well supposed to be) watching this darn movie with the wife....  and you are lucky right now! ROTFLMBO

Now Tim don't you let me down...  If I knew you were not working on my Osage Table and Chairs and if I'd known that call was available, Jim never would have had the chance... You'd better have a list with my name on one like that too!  I already have an osage/chestnut call from Tim the only way it could be better is with the new Chain Gang checkering!!!

Cool, unique design. Love that osage over wormy chestnut. Looks like Porter has got some competition for the yeller stuff. I would have told you the same thing if I had seen it before Jim!!!

Mike, about that Osage table and chairs, I almost had them finished, and,  well uh, I uh, kinda got an order for some Osage turkey calls. Since I used all the osage I had on your furniture, and I, uh really needed some to build the calls, I uhh uhh, kinda uhh, well put it this way, it may be a little while longer before you get your Osage furniture. *aah* *aah*

You guys know I'm stuck up here at my camp - with no turkey calls to play & it's driven me "stone cold crazy" - I'm pleadin' to Temporary Insanity on this one ... *wha* *wha*
Tim's just comin' to my rescue, & sending a few of his fine CCC callers up here to the camp as therapy - I've been wantin' an Osage Box caller, so there you have it - I'm just hopin' they get here before it's "too late" ... *fall*   *aah*
