Cody's 1st Turkey!!!!!!

Guys, I have been real busy lately but today was opening day of juvenile season so I decided to slow down and take Cody hunting. Here is the end result....his first turkey! I am so proud of him. This bird was at 15 yards and he smacked him. This morning the only thing they would gobble at was a copper pot and Charlie's box.  Feels better than if I had killed one myself. Thanks guys for looking.

Congrats. to y'all especially Cody on his first bird by the looks of that smile you just created another turkey hunter. Thats what it is all about right there.

Cody first off CONGRATULATIONS man!!!  I've had the pleasure of spending some time with him and he's a great kid (teenager more appropriately)... I'm not sure how he puts up with his dad :)

Secondly.... guys we'd all better watch for the sky to fall... Daryl successfully utilized a turpin style call.  No Springs on that call.  I'm really nervous what this world is coming to now :P

Congrats buddy.  I'm glad you have gotten the hang of it and we all know how great your copper calls are  *cheers*  On a windy day like today, I'm sure you put it to good use  *peep*

Congratulations to both of you.  I know how excited you were Daryl and I hope to have the same thing happen with me and my son!

Oh and glad you got out in this windy weather... we are ready for Kansas now!!!
