First Credited With Making Ivory Trumpet?
« on: March 24, 2010, 06:40:00 PM »
Am I correct in saying Frank Cox made the first ivory trumpet? I've read that somewhere but can't recall where. I'm hoping maybe Bill, Dave, or Preston can give some history on the subject.

 I stand corrected:

This call predates both Cox and Buice for an Ivory trumpet......maker is unknown but the call originally belonged to Mr. Tom Kennon.
