That is a "bunch" of fine looking grunters. Does the better half use hers or is it for looks??
... Kelly's been shootin' her Parker bow for a couple of years now, & she's pretty darn serious about it ...
She's been up to the camp a couple of times, & finally went out with us one day a while back to dig a dozen, or so, mineral licks ...
We came to a cool little spot on a creek with a ladder stand - it's all nice & shady with the bubblin' creek in the background - she thought it was a really neat spot & she claimed it as hers ...
Now the thing is, that Kelly's a vegetarian of sorts - she'll eat seafood, but no other
"meat" at all - & she's never hunted before & seems to have a little problem with killin' stuff ...
Everybody's always tellin' her that she shoots well enough to hunt; when she's shootin' at the range with us; & tellin' her she needs to get in the woods with her bow ...
So between the camo bow, a few camo hats & T Shirts, a couple of pairs of camo croks, & now that she's claimed her stand - I'm hoppin' she's gonna' grab her bow, & sit in the trees with us this year ...
... so just maybe Richard's fine
"custom made just for her" "OCC Mini" will help seal the deal for gettin' her in the woods this bow season ...
Now - I'm not sure what she would do
"if" she goes out & sits in
"her" ladder by the creek, &
"if" a deer happened to walk in on her - but I guess there's only one way to find out ...
We all joke around about if that were to happen, then of course the radios would go off with something about her shootin' a deer with a
"big bunch of branches" on it's head ...
I guess I'll just have to wait & see ... Jim
