Need a Shorty
« on: March 20, 2010, 09:09:56 AM »
Hope this is in the right place. Adam wants to buy a hunters grade shorty that sounds good of course for this season. (I know) Does anybody have one built for sale that he could buy? By field grade on a shorty I know it needs to be checkered for the vibration. I just don't need a parquet or anything fancy!

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

I can only speak for my box calls. The shorty with the shorter sound chamber is very hard if not impossible to get the sound I'm lookin for without checkering to help it vibrate. That being said, the normal size cost style box with a longer sound chamber will work well without checkering for me. What works for me may not be the same as what works for someone else though.
