My first two callers from SS Custom Calls ...

These are the first 2 boxes I ever got from Al & Josh - actually, they're the 1st real custom box callers I ever aquired ... RkLu RkLu

Al was a big help with choosin' the wood combos for 'em - he couldn't have been nicer, or more patient with me ... *cool* *cool*

 ;D ;D ... & boy was I ever "proud" when I finally was holdin' 'em in my hands ...  ;D ;D

  ... the Longbox caller is Cedar over Poplar ...


   ... the SS Clincher is Cherry over Spanish Cedar ...


... both are great callers, & both can "talk-the-talk" for sure - Thanks again AL for takin' the time for me ... *bowing* *bowing*

Jim those calls are sweet for sure. I haven't gotten off my butt and got a call from AL and Josh YET, but talkin to Al in PM and on the boards....seeing the calls and hearing all the reviews on here, I can see one in my future soon....Those two are definately a class act for sure.

I do not have that wood combo in the long box, but if memory serves me right, when he played that one for me it was mean as all get out!!!
