Look what showed up when I was tuning a few calls yesterday! Part 1,2,3

Actually they have been there all along...I decided to take a ride last night and this morning to gather some evidence! Hope this helps to Fan the Fire until next Saturday Morning! Good Luck to everyone!

Takin' a stroll looking for a New Truck! I prefer a different type of Vehicle.



Doing a little Gardening. These Two Gobblers were walking along the front of this Office Building, Pecking through the Landscaping!











Back Yard Birds. I saw these Turkeys last night. There are 7 Long Beards and 8 or 9 Hens. 3 of the Gobblers were laying under two Palm Trees like Dogs. Just Relaxing less than 20 yards from a screened in Pool!



This Gobbler came to my Calling...I had my Truck Idling with the Window Open...I called with a Diaphragm and a Crystal over Glass Call. He came from about 100 yards...walked behind my Truck...I opened the Door and got out when he was approx. 20 Yards...Watched him walk into the Woods behind my Truck...I got back in and watched the other Gobblers interact...A Hawk flew over and all 7 of them Gobbled at the same time! It was Awesome! I can't wait until next weekend!




Front Yard Birds. This Gobbler is literally on the sidewalk 10 Feet from the Front Door. I am in my Truck with the Engine Running at the Curb!









More Backyard Gobblers and Hens. I am sitting in my Truck at the Curb taking pictures between two houses...What an amazing Sight is was!

Great Pictures Tim, Them Florida birds look easy ROTFLMBO   Love the pictures of the strutters and the HOOKS on that one   WOW

Dang, Tim...Why do you come to the Swamp to hunt?...Looks like you could just sit by the pool and collect a nice, long spurred gobbler ...great pictures!

I like getting my butt kicked and drinking an occasional beer with a Great Call Maker! I probably wouldn't even have to get out of bed, but it just wouldn't be the same!

I recovered the Beard (what was left of it) and one Spur from a couple that met there demise on the Front of an Automobile. The measurement were 11 1/4" on the Beard and 1 5/8" on the Spur. All of the Mature Birds are real Trophy Osceolas! I would be willing to bet that the Two Strutters have 1 3/4" or longer Spurs!
