The first striker is from plain ole oak, and the second in from Quina. Google Quina, and check it out. Its a pretty wood. Thanks for your feed back

It sucks

Its really not too bad man. I was in a hurry and had to go get groceries for the boat. Not really a good enough excuse, other than I'm learning $:-\$

Looks good Doug. Just work on the length of the top for balance and you will have a nice striker.
