     ... here's a fine Black Mangrove Trumpet with a Buffalo Mouthpiece from Mr. Matt McLain ...

      

      

      

     These pics were taken under various light conditions, as is evident by the color changes - the ol' sun just wouldn't come out ...
     ... which is really too bad, as the Black Mangrove would have really lit up in the sunlight ...  ;D
     
     I can't thank Matt enough for takin' the time, & turnin' this very fine trumpet caller for me ... 8) 8)

I picked one up  from Matt at the Convention (as well as an acrylic and a cocabola- what can I say, I love Matt's calls).  In my opinion, Matt's calls are as good as they get, and he is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

You will Love that trumpet caller from Matt. I've known Matt for a few years and have several of his turkey calls and I know that he does a wonderful job putting turkey in all of them. He also made me one of those Black Mangrove turkey killers which I intend on taking to the turkey woods this spring.

Ralph- have you recovered yet from the Convention  ;)

Matt had a lot of trumpets at the Nats.... I just wish I had about $500 more dollars  ;D
