What kind of Ebony is that. The Ebony striker I have is black with no brown in it. Thanks, Mike
The Ebony comes from Southeast Asia, I asked for Macassar Ebony and this is what I ended up picking out. In another post of the striker and base, (Check this Out) you can see some colors that dont show up in this post, burgundy or wine color, very unusual, some of these Islands where the wood is harvested have large amounts of minerals in the soil from volcanic activity which may explain the colors.
