I agree with what Rickey said. The only thing I would like to see on that design is a bit of a flared tip. I know when I first started running potcalls , many years back, I personally found it a bit difficult to run a straight tapered striker like the one you posted. I'm sure anyone that is new to running a potcall will find it a bit challenging.
I had this discusiion with a new callmaker a few years ago and he did wind up changing his design after having some newbies run his calls with a tapered striker.
The last thing you want is someone thinking that your calls aren't any good because they are having problems running the striker you sent along with the call.
