Wing bone caller artwork by Jim O'Leary
« on: March 04, 2010, 02:12:46 PM »
Here is a caller I just got back from Jim O'Leary. I built this caller froma 26 lb. gobbler I shot in Casey Co. KY last spring. It plays very well but wasn't dressed up so I talked Jim into doing some of his fantastic artwork on my bones. I made a couple of suggestions and this is the result of his work. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when I opened her up. This is a great way to turn that 'ol strutter into a cherished reminder of the hunt. I am waiting on two more of them from Jim that he is building for me. He draws a beautiful flying tom as well as a big 'ol struttin' gobbler. I just had to have one of each to complete a set. You guys know the feeling, right! I highly recommend that you contact Jim and have him build you a wingbone. His callname is blackbabybug on this site.  I am sure you could send him your bones when you get your next bird or he will supply them. Beautiful work Jim. I can't wait to get the next one!!
