Nashville entry
« on: February 24, 2010, 09:33:45 PM »
Here is a picture of one of my entries in the longbox division for 2010. It is my version of an Eminence Mo. fencepost caller. It is a butternut body with a cedar lid. Let me know if I can build one for you. $ 85.00 + shipping. I would like to thank everyone for all the great comments on my longboxes. I had a great time at Nationals and can't wait for next year so I can meet up with everyone again!

Great caller Bob! I know I really like the butternut/cedar longbox I got from you. I'll post some pics as soon as I can. I had to get a new camera. Mine blew up at Nashville!  *cry*

Thanks man I've been beating myself up for not getting that on the silent auction.  Glad to know mine will be done before season starts!  I'll give it a good work out then!!!  I'm not sure how many times I walked over and played that call.  I love the way it fit in my hands!

Nice long box for a great price!

Thanks everybody for the nice comments. I prefer to build the longbox callers because they are so versatile and have the ability to recreate a wider range of calls than the short box can. I am looking forward to competing with all the great callmakers like Al and Dave again next year. Building calls has gained me some great friendships that I'm sure will last a lifetime. There is no finer a man than one who spends his free-time making turkey callers and chasing those'ol gobblers!! Thanks again.
