Well Dave finally quit tormenting me and sent me my calls 

First off is the Cypress/Osage Cost style longbox. It's a beauty and will definitely be out with me this Spring and fall.  It can kee kee so easily.   I hate to say it, but I wish Fall season was about to open

This is the first combo built by him in Cost Style.  Cypress was from Bulldogmikey which makes this even more special to me.  I tried to get Dave's longbox at Nashville, as it sounded awesome too!  I believe a member here ended up with it!

Dave thanks for building me one killer longbox!!!




Now comes a more traditional call.  I knew I'd seen Dave build some Gibson style calls and I hit him up for one.  I love this call.  It plays really easy and I love the look and feel of it.  I cannot wait to try it out this Spring too.  I have a hard time putting this call down

It's Cocobolo on the bottom, maple body, and bubinga lid!

Sometimes it pays to be slow    I think it was payback for you and the gang rubbing it into my face...  I waited until I saw him post some Cost style boxes and asked nicely for him to build me one that way

Congrats on some beauties man!!  I ran Dave's Nashville entry multiple times. One sweet sounding paddle call for sure!  Dave, I'm proud of how you've come along with your longboxes man!!

Well they basically came in right as I was leaving for the convention.  They sat at the house depressed knowing I didn't bring them..

Mike, I am glad you like the calls, but I need you to send the Gibson back, I forgot to template it, and I need it to tune Bill's!
(Just kidding ya, I have a couple more I've been working on! ) Bill, don't worry,,,
Mike, just to clarify,that was the first time I used cypress and osage combo in a Cost style long box, not the first Cost style long box that I've built. It had been a while since I built any and built these for competition.
