Another treasure from Charlie Parrish

Here is one I have wanted to get along time. Its a Turpin style made by Charlie Parrish. Ole Charlie worked with me real hard trying to get me past the style I am used to playing a box. I was pretty bad in front of everyone at the convention...wasn't doing too good with it, but I am starting to get better. A different playing style but does she sound great, and just look at it...simply stunning. Thanks a million Charlie.

I kinda pulled a PORTER *poo* !!! I left Charlie with a chalk holder, a matching scratch box and that awsomwe box. Somehow...somehow...somehow.... ??? I dropped the scratchbox out of the package and some lucky person has no idea of the person that made that little scratchbox. I lost it...looked for it for almost two hours. The worst of it is that someone has something and has no idea of the importance it is to me simplly because of the person that made it. My bad.

Gotta love those hen boxes that Mr. Parrish builds.  They are a work of art, have sweet sound, and he's a heck of a guy to boot!

Now you gotta go out and get some blood on her!  At least that's what Charlie tells me I have to do with mine!

Got a email from Marlin this morning.
I pulled a Porter. I asked Marlin if I could leave Charlie's box with him while I ran around. When I went back to get it to take it to the room, the little scratch box had fell in Marlins bag of Gold !!!! I didn't realize it had fell out until in the room. Went back step for step and never found it.
I am so gled its in good hands with Marlin, and it will soon be back in the set Charlis put together for me. Thanks a milloin Marlin>
Alright---after I jumped on ole Porter..... ROTFLMBO>>>I know I am wide open for the same abuse here....but I am still happy to know I will get it back.
