thanks for the compliments on my call. it was a great show and someone gave me a nice surprise in my bag when i got home. it is a neat little scratch box made of striped maple with a cedar striker. i'm going to send it to a man in tenn. just so he can play it and send it back to me. i also saw a beautiful striped maple turpin style box call there that would go great with my new scratch box. sorta be a matched pair don't you know.

Sooner---ya cannot believe how much I appreciate you found that little scratch box. I think I was bust tormenting one of those two Walnut boxes I so wanted to buy also that I totally left and did not check to see all the items were in Charile's package. I am so glad to know its in safe hands my friend. I appreciate you getting word to me.
And I was throwing rocks and daggers at ole Porter for leaving your trumpet he got with Daryl,,,guess I am in line to get some ABUSE now. *cry* *aah*.
I am just glad to know you have it.
Get some more killers ready and call me!!!

Marlin, I'm sure Jeff is in no hurry to get it, I would send it to him, say on May 31st, covered in feathers, and a few extra notches just so he knows you had a good time with it,,,,  ROTFLMBO  Congrats!!

I bought a nice one from Marlin, a wormy butternut and Ebony.  Will post pictures sometime.  Beautiful call.  Saving up my money to get one from Al next year.  Both of their box calls rock.

That should be another great Fiddle-Paddle from Marlin. He makes some great longboxes. I also picked up a very nice Fiddle- Paddle caller made of Butternut with a few worm holes and a Kwila lid. It speaks Turkey very good and I intend to try it out this spring. All of Marlins calls are TOP SHELF and need to be hunted with.
