Seriously, I'm just curious as to what they are. It looks good, I'm just wondering what they are and how he fastens them.

Pop rivets is a stupid guess though seeing as how they are hollow in the middle. It's just the first thing that came to mind.

They are actually leather grommets from the craft store used for leather work...I call them exhaust ports..... ;D
