My grandson, Jordan, was accepted into the Raikes program at University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Of the hundreds of students that applied they chose 65 for an interview. Of the 65 students interviewed they choose approximately 30 to be accepted into the program. Raikes school is one step above the honors program which includes approximately 2,000 students. The program combines computer science, engineering, and business administration. This is a great opportunity that Jordan has worked hard for. Students have had internships with NASA, Homeland Security, Microsoft…and much more. Internships are typically paid as well as paid living expenses.
