one for me--Antique Bald Cyprus and Walnut

Here is the other call I got from that wood. Its from the same antique Bald Cyprus from Terreborne Bayou in Louisiana. I put a walnut lid and base on this one. Its a little clearer than Mikes as far as sound goes , but I like it. These were the first two I ever worked from any kinda Cyprus. I have a batch of Red Sinker Cyprus now-but I am having to dry it. I made 4 from that wood and it way to wet to vibrate-thet are going to set on the vcr to get dried for now. That wood is going to make some great calls as soon as I get it dry enought to make it sound right,

... sharp lookin' box caller right there - that Bald Cypress is really fine, & the Walnut lid shows it off perfectly ... 8) 8)
