Arrogance in Chief....!
« on: February 04, 2010, 08:58:07 AM »
Does this photo of President Obama in the Oval Office convey anything about his attitude?

Would you speak with the Chief of Staff, your Chief Economics Adviser, your Senior Adviser, or anyone,

with your feet up on the Resolute Desk - a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1880?

This arrogant, immature, self-centered man has no sense of honor, or simple decency.

While this posture is disrespectful in any culture, it is not appropriate in any executive setting. Further, in over half of the cultures of the world, it is recognized not only as disrespectful, but as an extreme insult.

He thinks of himself as a king, not as a servant of the people, humbly occupying our White House for his term in office.

Electing him was an enormous mistake and will cost us in many ways, for generations.

Biggest mistake this country has EVER made whe it comes to elected officials. That is absolutely the most disgrace picture I have seen in some time. Commander in Chief my foot! Legend in his own mind is more like it!

No respect should be given to a man who does not honor his word. He is just an adolescent who's acorns haven't dropped yet.

Every "commander" that I've served with has led from the FRONT.  In order to lead, must have followers and in order for someone to follow a leader he MUST be in the FRONT.  Otherwise, how can he be a leader?

And he cannot figure out why his approval rating keeps dropping?

I think he is starting to realize that he is more than likely a one term President.  I know I sure hope so!  Hopefully the elections in 2010 will re-direct this country in the right direction!

The photo says to me, that I (Obama) own this desk and I own you guys.  Enough to make a person puke.  I'm sure nobody had the balls to tell him to remove his feet.  He should be put on the "No Fly List".  Crap he has his own plane.  I'm sure the folks that were taken in by his election rhetoric are rethinking their votes - too late!

I would be banned and blacklisted if I posted my real thoughts to this post. I know you realize this, but that election was not about making the right choice or even the basis of what he campaigned on. It was about making history. The people that voted him in scream for equality, while asking for benefits based on their race. Want fair treatment, but blame hardship on circumstance and the hand they were dealt.

It makes me sick. This country was based on a very simple thought. You have the right to pursue happiness. Not the birthright of it. God intended all to be considered equal, he also requires hard work, common sense, and accountability. We are required to be TOLERANT of other people, not conformed to their ways.

whew Mike---you pretty much summed that up tight. I am nearing 50 yrs and what I have seen in my life dissapoints me to no end. When I was a boy-am mans word was supposed to mean something. There were consequences for actions, and people took responsibility for their actions. Hard work was the way to prosper ...and it was rewarded.
Now this entitlement pholosophy of the $#@ far lefters his totally changing what this great country has always stood for. Its all about people expecting for the workers to keep them proped up and no sense what-so-ever of responsiblity or diligence. Its sad but something has to change and its we the p[eople that will have to recapture our great country from the likes of some of these elected BOZO's!!
You want to mees up a totally good thing--let the government get involved---its done at that point. Lets get all politicians on a strict term limit and make them live with all the programs they force on us !!!
I got to stop now---with all the Toyota news and this tooo---I amy go POSTAL *aah* *fall* *cry* >!!
