Apologies
« on: February 03, 2010, 03:53:49 PM »
For those that saw the "distasteful" post earlier, I want to give you my sincere apologies.  It's hard to stop every spammer (as is the case when dealing with emails), but we are doing all we can at the moment to counter them!

Luckily, some mighty fine members jumped to my help and notified me of the inappropriate material.

I'm looking at ways to become more spam proof on this site without hurting regular members.  It had been awhile since one "slipped" through, but I'll see what I can do to make it even harder!  I'm trying to balance it between affecting legit users and known spammers!

Thanks for everyones understanding!  I appreciate it!

No apology necessary here bud. It was handled in a fast and efficient manner. Great job as always. These dang spammers are everywhere! Keep up the great job!  RkLu

No respect should be given to a man who does not honor his word. He is just an adolescent who's acorns haven't dropped yet.

Those who stir the S**T pot should have to lick the spoon.

Oh my... I think he went out and attempted to turn the heat on last night in the shop  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

For those that missed it, let's say I'd had to have turned the forum name into something way more risque !!!!

I'm sure we didn't miss anything, don't need that kind of stuff on a family forum.  Keep up the good work Mike!
