"Time"
« on: January 28, 2010, 09:38:10 AM »
Time: The present'that is a result of the past, without regard to the future."

1 Peter 4:7-11 (King James Version)
7But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
8And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
9Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
10As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

When we were children it seemed all we could think about  was Saturday, Summertime and Christmas.
As we became teenagers it was drivers license and girls, or (boys).
As we got older we developed new interests, football, baseball, hunting, a myriad of things occupied our time.
As we "top the hill" and start down, the train gets faster. Slow down we say.
Sometimes we feel like a bug that hits a windshield at 60 MPH and wonder how did I get here?
Time is a strange thing indeed.
We can't control it.
We cant get it back.
But we should never ignore it!
Do you remember when time wasn't as important? Now it seems to be a priority?

But we can understand it's limitations.

1. Not one of us it guaranteed more than the moment we have right now. We should never forget the people that make our life so enjoyable and take them for granted.

2. Determine to take life seriously and make the most of each day!

3. Learn to be unaffected by time and and seize the moment.

If we are breathing, remember, it's never too late! Time is another opportunity!

God Bless this day for each of us. Thank you Lord for the here and Now!  Amen

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
