Trio of Longboxes
« on: January 27, 2010, 07:34:20 PM »
The top call is an all Cedar longbox made by Bill Lyman.  Bill and I started a great friendship through the purchase of this call.  ;D
The middle call is Cedar/Mahagony made by Chad Griep.  This is the first longbox that Chad ever sold.  I think he only sold a handfull of them.
The bottom call is Cedar/Butternut made by Chad Zutter.
All of these calls have a great sound to them as well as being made very well.

Lou,

Congrats on these three great looking paddle calls.

I have an all-cedar box from Bill that is one of the best sounding boxes I own. I had no idea he made longboxes. I have a Zutter paddle ordered in the same combo you have posted.

Very nice calls!

Chad Zutter makes an excellent long box. I never heard of the other 2 makers. You have any contact info?

Chad Griep is no longer making calls as of now, which is too bad cause he makes a great call.  I also have a Wlanut/Holly shortbox from Chad that is nothing short of awesome.  Bill Lyman goes by "callmakerman" on the forums.
