Sturgeon from a few years ago

I caught this sturgeon a few years back in Calif. Fish weighed 100lbs and was 71 3/4 inches. If it had of been 1/4 inch longer I would have had to release it. Calif had a slot limit back then of 46 inches to 72 inches.

Thats a very good eating fish too. Many haven't had the chance to eat a sturgeon, but it will knock your socks off.

Hey Dave, I have some gill rakes from a few sturgeon that are awesome looking. Hold on to them if you can. They are hard as steal.
