Looking to get me a non Production box call.  Figured I'd come and ask where they look so purty.

Wondering who you recommend and how to contact them.

Welcome Ralph! Like Mike said,there are a number of call makers here who can build you something in the sound you're looking for, and would be happy to run some calls for you!

You know Rickey I was thinking.. I do the same but at least we are stimulating the economy pretty darn good.  And they are Made in the USA!!!

 Shadow turkey calls makes a great sawn and glued boxcall. I got one from him several years ago and it still stands out as the BEST sounding call in my collection. It is a walnut on walnut short box that absolutely talks turkey. I have many calls and his stands out among them all as a great one. It was avery reasonably priced call as well. For a hunting call that is important, who wants to take a chance on ruining an expensive decorative call in the field? I have told Gregg many times how good this call is and it really does scream TURKEY !
