All Phenolic Resin Trumpet

Turned this one today.  I decided to try out some phenolic resin from guitarpartsandmore.com.  I figured it ought to produce good sound since it is the same stuff that billiard balls are made from.  Wow is this thing ever loud!  Very crisp and easy rollover as well.

Yes Dave, I have tried the new resin ivory and I thought it was by far the most realistic looking ivory alternative.  It is a bit more difficult to turn as compared to some other synthetics.  I thought it sounded similar to delrin.  Certainly a great option for someone that wants the ivory look.
